●     Another user opens a company file in single user mode.

Solution 1: Manually resolving Error 6073.

 

●     If company file is open in single user mode on other workstation:

●     Close Quickbooks on all PCs.

●     Open Company file in the host computer.

●     Go to the file menu.

●     Select Switch to multi-user mode.

 

Solution 2:If the company file is open on the host computer:

●     Reach the file menu.

●     Select Close the company.

●     Reopen the company file.

●     Go to the file menu.

●     Go to Open or restore company.

●     Open the company file and click Next.

●     Select to open the company file in multi user mode.

 

Solution 3: If the PC is accessed remotely.

●     Right click on the task-bar and select Task manager.

●     Go to the Processes tab.

●     See if the process is running under the username on which you are having issues.

●     If yes, restart the PC.
